YourCalcSuite is committed to being transparent about the data it collects and how it is used. This policy explains what information is gathered when you use the platform, why it is gathered, and your rights regarding that information.
YourCalcSuite uses Umami for website analytics. Umami is a privacy-focused analytics tool that is cookieless and collects no personal data. It does not use cookies or any form of persistent tracking. No information that could identify you (such as your IP address, name, or email) is stored by Umami.
Umami is self-hosted on YourCalcSuite's own infrastructure. No analytics data leaves our servers. Because no personal data is processed, a cookie consent banner is not required.
If you sign up, we store your email address to send you occasional updates (new calculators, AI going live, that kind of thing). There is no third-party email provider involved: updates are sent manually from our own business email account, and your address is never handed to any marketing platform. Contact us via the contact page at any time to be removed from the list.
Your email address will never be sold to any third party.
Values you enter into calculators (such as financial figures or health measurements) are transmitted to our backend solely to compute your result. These inputs are not logged, stored, or associated with any identifier. Results may be cached temporarily in-memory to improve performance, but no input data is retained after your session.
AI features are not yet live on YourCalcSuite. When AI contextualisation is introduced, an external AI API provider will be used to interpret calculator results in plain language. At that point, the AI API provider will act as a data processor under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), meaning it will process data strictly on our behalf, under a data processing agreement, and will not use your data for its own purposes or as an independent third party.
We are flagging this in advance so you have full transparency before the feature is introduced. We will update this policy when AI features go live.
YourCalcSuite is GDPR-aware. The data we collect is minimal by design. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you.
In Phase 1, the only personal data we hold is your email address if you subscribed to the newsletter. To exercise your rights or to submit a data request, contact us via our contact page.
This policy will be updated when new features that affect data collection are introduced (for example, user accounts or AI contextualisation). The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision.
